WORKSHOPS

Watercolor is a medium that invites us to let go.

The paint moves with the water, the paper responds in its own way, and what begins as uncertainty often becomes something unexpectedly beautiful. It’s a process that rewards curiosity, welcomes imperfection, and reminds us that we don’t have to control everything to create something meaningful.

That philosophy shapes the way I teach. My workshops are spaces to experiment, explore, and trust the process—learning the foundations while leaving room for surprise.

Because sometimes the most magical moments in watercolor happen when we simply step out of the way.

IGNITE

In this class, I’ll absolutely teach you the basics to set you up for success—including some of my favorite tricks of the trade.

But more importantly, Ignite is about discovering why watercolor is the most magical painting medium of all.

Watercolor rewards “mistakes,” invites us to get out of our own way, and teaches us to trust the process. The paint, the water, and the paper know exactly what they’re doing—we simply act as the conduit that brings them together.

You’ll leave feeling inspired and a little bit wowed—with a beautiful watercolor in hand and the confidence to keep exploring long after the class ends.

INNOVATE

Let go of perfection and explore the magic of watercolor.

Innovation is a four-session workshop designed to help you experiment, play, and enjoy the creative process. No experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Together we’ll learn the foundations of watercolor while embracing the beauty of unpredictability. Each session builds on the last, giving you space to experiment, develop your eye, and grow your confidence with the medium.

Session 1: Brush strokes, color mixing, and creating your own custom palette
Session 2: Experimental mediums and playful techniques
Session 3: Composition play—learning how elements come together on the page
Session 4: Combine and create—bringing everything together in a final piece

By the end of the series, you’ll have a deeper understanding of watercolor, a collection of techniques to keep exploring, and the freedom to create without the pressure of perfection.
